Information of Venue and Travel for the 2009 ISPSO Annual Meeting in Toledo, Spain The 2009 ISPSO Annual Meeting is being held in Spain in the city of Toledo.
The title is “Differences at Work: Toward Containment and Integration”. When is the Annual Meeting?
The dates are 22 to 28th of June 2009. - Professional Development workshops from Monday 22 till Thursday 25th June
- Members Day on Thursday 25th June
- Symposium on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 26, 27 and 28th of June What does the AM cost?
Prices for the Annual Meeting depend on
- whether you are an ISPSO member
- and on the date of registration. There is an “early bird” reduction for those registering before 15th of May 2009. For ISPSO members registering before 1st of May, the prices are:
PD workshops are 300 Euros for a one-day workshop,
400 Euros for a 1,5 day workshop and
500 Euros for a two-day workshop.
Members Day is free for ISPSO members.
The Symposium costs 500 Euro for members before the deadline of 1st May and more for non-members.

On Saturday evening a Gala Dinner is being held in “El Cigarral del Angel Custodio”, a very special place where we can enjoy a splendid view of Toledo (see the website, tab social activities, Saturday 27th) The dinner is a festive occasion, but not a formal one. So there is no formal dress code; the dinner is meant to be a setting where people can meet and greet and enjoy themselves. The price of the dinner including drinks is 100 Euros. There will also be a live Flamenco Fiesta. Where is the AM being held?
The venue, the place where the Annual Meeting is being held is the Beatriz Hotel in Toledo. This hotel has also reserved rooms for participants of the AM and the special price is 99 Euros a night for single use of a double room. Please go to the website and click on Hotel Registration to find out more about the rooms and to get the special price for the AM. How to get to the Beatriz Hotel in Toledo? For the 24th and 25Th the Annual Meeting Committee we have arranged for some shuttles from Madrid airport to the Venue without cost for the participants of the AM.
The hotel is 45 minutes from the Madrid (name?) airport by taxi.
A taxi from the airport to Toledo is 80€
To get to the hotel you can also use the high speed railway from Madrid Atocha Station.
For that you first take the metro from the airport to the station 2€ and the fast train 10€ to Toledo. From Toledo Station to the venue you need to take a taxi and the cost is about 4 Euros.
All that takes about 1hour and a half.
